The Tour Odéon is a very high-end residential building located at 36 Avenue de l’Annonciade, in the La Rousse – Saint Roman district of Monaco. Inaugurated in 2015, it rises 170 metres tall over 49 floors and is one of the most emblematic and tallest residential buildings in the Principality.
Designed by Monaco architect Alexandre Giraldi and developed by the Groupe Marzocco, the Tour Odéon marks the assertive return of vertical urbanism to Monaco. It addresses the geographic constraint of Monaco’s territory while combining state-owned public housing with very high-end private residences.
Today, the Tour Odéon is considered one of the most emblematic and prestigious residential buildings in the Principality of Monaco.
The Tour Odéon is vertically organised by use:
This vertical layout finances a unique mixed-use property programme in Monaco, integrating 177 public apartments intended for Monegasque nationals and 82 private luxury apartments, including duplexes and penthouses on the highest floors.
The Tour Odéon has 10 basement levels providing around 550 parking spaces. Its foundations have been dug 40 metres deep into the rock, allowing a high-rise structure to remain stable on a site with major topographical constraints.
The Tour Odéon combines contemporary architecture with amenities comparable to those of luxury hotels. Residents benefit from a 24/7 concierge, a 1 800 m² Sisley spa, an indoor pool, a fitness centre and chauffeur-driven mobility services.
The private apartments, decorated by the Alberto Pinto agency, feature advanced home automation systems for centralised management of comfort, safety and home equipment. Large picture windows offer panoramic views of Monaco and the Mediterranean Sea.
Located in the residential district of La Rousse – Saint Roman, the Tour Odéon occupies a strategic position at the eastern entrance to the Principality of Monaco. Owing to its height, contemporary architecture and the quality of its amenities, it stands as a major visual landmark on the Monaco skyline.
The construction of the Tour Odéon is part of a controlled vertical development strategy, responding to the rarity of land in Monaco while maintaining high architectural and residential standards. It is now a benchmark for extremely high-end real estate in Monaco.
The Tour Odéon is more than just a luxury residential building: it represents a major turning point in Monaco’s contemporary urban development. Located at the eastern entrance to the territory in the La Rousse – Saint Roman district, it signifies the confident return of verticality in a state facing extreme land scarcity.
At 170 metres high, the Tour Odéon stands as an architectural and visual landmark on Monaco’s skyline. It symbolises a new approach to urban development, combining controlled densification, architectural excellence and mixed uses by integrating state-owned public housing and very high-end private residences.
This unique vertical organisation allows the Principality to simultaneously address social, economic and residential challenges, while maintaining an internationally prestigious position in the luxury real estate market. Thus, the Tour Odéon is considered one of the iconic buildings of modern Monaco.
Living at the Tour Odéon means benefitting from a secure, discreet environment entirely dedicated to residents’ comfort. Every access point is controlled, and the common areas are designed to offer a level of privacy comparable to the most exclusive private residences.
The integrated services allow residents to enjoy a unique lifestyle in Monaco, combining well-being, security and bespoke amenities. The immediate proximity of shops, schools, beaches and the city centre further enhances the attraction of this exceptional building.
At the top of the building, between the 45th and 49th floors, the Tour Odéon houses the Sky Penthouse, often described as the most expensive apartment in the world, for which we have written a detailed article.
